Are you struggling coping and dealing with what some call a 'problem child'? Have you tried everything but nothing seems to work? Do you think your child is at risk, or has already begun hanging with the wrong crowd? Has your child experienced their first brush with the law, or been threatened with suspension/explusion from school? Is your child intelligent, and caring, and sensitive, a good kid but they are seemingly lost or are losing their way? Then please, reach out.
The Denning Project, driven by Jayson Denning, thrives on developing tools and engaging with children and teens who are experiencing severe difficulties in home, school, or social life. There is no such thing as a person who cannot be helped - young or old, man or woman, boy or girl. Everyone needs a hand at times.
This would be a great space to write about our project and all the support we provide - but that is not all we do. We are not like other agencies. We are a small boutique outfit with a wide variety of skills and backgrounds who have all joined forces and want to see others life their best life and we will do everything in our power to make that possible. We have all personally dealt with law enforcement, from both sides of the fence, family issues, domestic violence, juvenile crime, repeat offenders - and take great satisfaction in the work we do creating stronger, more resilient, well-rounded young men and women. Whilst we are dedicated to empowering individuals and families, offering a range of tools and support systems. We understand the various and very particular challenges your family are facing and are here to offer solutions.
We also offer a one-stop-shop for men who are being accused and abused through the Victorian legal system by their wife/spouse/partner of all forms of domestic abuse, including coercive control. Whilst we understand the vast majority of cases are legitimate, there ARE about twenty per cent of cases where an order is sought for purposes other than those stated and calimed, and in obtaining said order, lies, misrepresentations, and baseless accusations are made against a man in order to ruin his reputation amongst his peer group, friend group, and at times entire neighbourhoods in order to keep what has really occurred from being made public. The law has little regress for men who suffer this - here at The Denning Project we are determined to ensure anyone making false allegations that negatively impact a person are held accountable. If not criminally, then through Civil Courts where thankfully the standard of proof is much lower.

But what we also want is for people to tell us their story. We are about people. And everyone has a story. You can send it through anonymously, or you can proudly send your details through with the story. It can be as long or as short as you need it to be. We believe in the power of storytelling and its ability to bring about positive change through actually writing about how you fell, how you felt, what emotions you experienced - during the time you write about. It does not have to be a happy story, or a sad story, just a REAL story. No judgement. No feedback. Just a safe space to unburden yourself or reminisce about childhood, growing up, love and relationship, tragedy, heartbreak, we want to hear what you have to say.
